Grants to this Grantee
for leadership transition
San Francisco’s Magic Theatre is dedicated to the cultivation of new plays, and provides an artistic home for playwrights, in which a full body of work can be imagined, supported, and produced. Magic Theatre produces a season each year, typically presenting four productions for audiences of about ten thousand. The majority of productions presented at the theater are world premieres. The organization also presents second and third productions of existing works, creating sustained relationships with playwrights throughout their careers. This Organizational Effectiveness grant will support the organization’s executive search and hiring process for a new Artistic Director.
