Overview
LightHawk is a volunteer-based environmental aviation organization. This grant would support the Rockies Program and its partnerships with western conservation groups working to broaden public understanding of large-scale conservation issues by providing the aerial perspective of environmental issues in the region. The goals of this grant are to increase (1) the number of public officials joining conservation education flights by 25 percent, (2) media coverage of LightHawk flights and their conservation purposes by 10 percent, and (3) the number of volunteer pilots who fly for LightHawk. We are tying off this grant due to budget constraints and because EcoFlight is better aligned with our western strategy.
