Overview
The Leadership Conference Education Fund builds public will for policies that promote and protect civil and human rights in the United States. The organization seeks to transform public education so that all young people attend fairly resourced schools that prepare them for college, career, and life. This grant provides support programming to inform K-12 education policy to better reflect the priorities of the most marginalized students and families. The Leadership Conference Education Fund is a nonpartisan national civil rights nonprofit that builds public will for federal policies that promote and protect the civil and human rights of all persons in the United States in three core values: justice; inclusion and opportunity; and democracy. The fund provides research, education, and strategic communications outreach regarding the need for public policy that ensures equality, equal opportunity, and justice for all. Its campaigns and programs – from voting rights to educational equity to justice reform – empower and mobilize advocates around the country to push for progressive change in the United States.

The Leadership Conference Education Fund is the education, communications, and research arm of The Leadership Conference and provides support to The Leadership Conference’s coalition of over 200-member organizations through policy, field, and communications efforts. These efforts engage the public, community leaders, and coalition organizations in education, research, coalition building, grassroots organizing, training and media campaigns to initiate campaigns that will foster public support for protecting and advancing civil rights for all.
