Overview
The LAM Sisterhood (TLS) tells stories for African women to feel seen, heard, and beloved. TLS approaches this mission by teaching its unique storytelling skills to other creatives and organizations, tailoring its partners’ information and ideas into compelling content for diverse audiences, and telling its own original stories. This grant will enable The LAM Sisterhood to invest in its community nurturing and nourishing efforts, specifically the LAM Letter and Sister Salons. This project aims to show the power of storytelling to foster grace, gratitude, nourishment, and community cohesion at a time of mounting challenges to civil society in Kenya and across the African region.
