Overview
This grant will support sustainability and expansion efforts of the Keio OER project and the Japan Open Courseware Consortium (JOCW). Founded in 2005, the Japan OpenCourseware (JOCW) Consortium has grown at a remarkable rate, from 6 member institutions and 153 courses to 23 members and 1497 courses. The lead for the project, Professor Fushimi Fukuhara, has transitioned to Keio University, the new host for JOCW. This grant will support Professor Fukuhara’s efforts to continue expansion of JOCW. Professor Fukuhara will also develop a sustainability plan to ensure funding and infrastructure support for the project beyond the term of this grant.
