Overview
This grant would enable the Gates Institute of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to co-host the fourth International Conference on Family Planning. The Conference will take place in Indonesia in November 2015, and the theme will be family planning and the Sustainable Development Goals. A steering committee of more than forty partner organizations will help organize the program. Examples of issue-oriented tracks include: addressing youth needs, quality of care, advancing family planning through faith organizations, and innovations in financing. The Conference will provide a platform for exchange of latest science and practices in family planning, and is expected to draw more than 1,500 abstract submissions.
