Overview
With this OE-DEI grant, Jobs to Move America (JMA) will implement an internal inclusion, equity and diversity plan that has been developed. At the conclusion of this process, JMA hopes to develop and implement specific principles and practices at the team level to center DEI, and implement a recruitment plan that results in applicant pools that are representative of under-represented minorities, particularly of African American candidates. Jobs to Move America focuses on embedding racial, environmental, and economic equity into our nation’s transition to clean technologies. Through research, policy, and community organizing, Jobs to Move America is working to create a nation that uses the power of public funds to create public good, and foster the conditions for an inclusive democracy, equitable economy, and healthy environment for all.
