Overview
Intersection for the Arts fosters the advancement of the Bay Area arts community by providing fiscal sponsorship, professional development, and workspace for more than 120 artists and arts organizations. Its programs support the growth of promising creative projects, offer financial and administrative support for established projects, and promote the development of sustainable livelihoods for the people leading them. This grant will support Intersection for the Arts’ efforts to increase its capacity to serve more members, as well as implement a new strategic plan that will advance its new business model.

for Zoo Labs  
Zoo Labs, a fiscally sponsored project of Intersection for the Arts, supports and empowers Bay Area-based musicians and other artists to own and amplify their creative projects. Its work includes the curricular development and delivery of arts business training, public panel discussions with industry leaders, and other services in support of arts entrepreneurs and small business owners. Since 2013, Zoo Labs has conducted 26 accelerator residencies, engaging over 350 mentors to serve over 250 local artists. This grant, in alignment with the program’s Artists strategy, will enable Zoo Labs to continue and evolve its artist support programs.
