Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
Ibis Reproductive Health improves women’s reproductive autonomy, choices, and health by conducting research in the United States, Latin America, and sub-Saharan Africa to inform advocacy for access to safe, affordable, high-quality reproductive health care. During this grant period, Ibis’ efforts will include a focus on testing new approaches to measure the quality of abortion services and abortion stigma, building new partnerships with service delivery and advocacy groups that can best identify their communities’ research needs, and managing the effort to make an oral contraceptive available over-the-counter in the United States.
for general operating support
This general support grant will support Ibis Reproductive Health’s efforts to improve access to safe abortion and the full range of contraceptive methods, and strengthen the links between HIV and sexual and reproductive health in the U.S. and globally. Ibis conducts social science and clinical research that raises awareness and informs discussion about reproductive health; generates evidence in support of improved services and closing gaps in access; and informs decisions about guidelines and norms focused on abortion, contraception, and HIV services.
