The Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University uses school-, teacher-, and student-level data to address policy questions and improve educational outcomes for students. With the foundation’s support, EdReports and others have begun judging instructional materials by their alignment with the Common Core State Standards. With this proposal, the center also seeks to start judging textbooks and other instructional materials using student achievement.
