The Greater Yellowstone Coalition works to protect the lands, waters, and wildlife of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, an 18 million acre area surrounding Yellowstone National Park and home to a remarkably diverse and robust array of wildlife. Last year, the Coalition received a grant from the Foundation to better apply outcome-focused grantmaking techniques to its work. The proposed renewal grant would support the Coalition’s efforts to apply the results of this special grant to its broad goal to protect the land and wildlife of the region by increasing protection for over 5 million acres of public land in the region.
