Greater Kansas City Community Foundation

The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation has consistently been at the forefront of efforts to help donors make good philanthropic decisions. GKCCF designed and launched the DonorEdge platform now run by Guidestar and used by twelve community foundations across the country. GKCCF has also offered critical innovations like their Charitable Investment Review-the first product that reported back to individual donors information about outcomes of all of the grantees in their portfolios. The Foundation has supported GKCCF's efforts to share what it has learned with community foundations and donor advisors across the country. GKCCF has been so successful that several other community foundations are now co-leading this effort and there is less need for it to drive the process. Accordingly, we expect this to be our last grant to GKCCF for this line of work.
