Grantmakers in the Arts

Grantmakers in the Arts is North America’s only national association of private and public funders that make grants to artists and arts organizations. Grantmakers in the Arts has more than 1,300 members: private, family, community, and corporate foundations; government agencies; and national service organizations. Its programs include a well-regarded annual conference, a web conference series, thought leader forums, and publications. The Arts Education Funder’s Coalition is an affinity group for its members with an interest in policy change that might broaden access to arts education in public schools. This grant to Grantmakers in the Arts, for its Arts Education Funder’s Coalition, advances the Performing Arts Program’s Youth strategy through the Policy and Advocacy substrategy.
