Overview
With 260 member organizations, Grantmakers for Education (GFE) is the nation's largest, most diverse network of education funders. In addition to growing its membership base, GFE aspires to aligning and coordinating efforts across funders through convenings and services. This grant would help support the development of a new and potentially powerful interactive data-visualization tool that will help funders build a shared understanding of funding flows in areas of education grantmaking. In addition, GFE will host an "Innovation 2.0" work session for grantmakers working in education innovation, with the aim of determining what compelling new strategies and investments must be made now to meet the needs of students in the radically-different learning environment of 2025.

Grantmakers for Education is a voluntary national consortium for educational philanthropists composed of nearly 300 member institutions and 1,800 individuals who share information and insights. Through its annual conference and regional summits, the group aims to improve outcomes for all learners by serving as a trusted partner for all education philanthropists as they adapt to a changing world.
