for the Renewable Transportation Fuels in Transition project
The Governors Biofuels Coalition mission is to increase the development and use of sustainably produced biofuels and decrease the nation's dependence fossil energy resources. The Coalition works directly with federal government agencies and leaders, as well as private sector stakeholders, to guide policy on sustainable and advance biofuels development. The main results of this grant will be the identification of biofuels feedstock sustainability research gaps, benefits and consequences of expanding biofuels production, and a roadmap to achieve agreed upon sustainability goals over the next five years.
