Overview
Global Health Corps, a one-year fellowship program for young leaders in global health, seeks to be a launching pad for young people under thirty years of age to begin careers in global health in seven countries in East Africa, Southern Africa, and the United States. To meet demand from applicants and recognize the health needs of their focus countries, Global Health Corps has created partnerships with new host organizations that focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights. This grant would help Global Health Corps finance sixty-six new fellowship positions focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights for its upcoming fellowship year.

Grants to this Grantee
for support to develop an online information portal
Global Health Corps’s (GHC) one-year fellowship program aims to develop the next generation of leaders in global health, including reproductive health. This organizational effectiveness grant will support the creation of a new information technology system for GHC fellows and alumni. This system will be the first of its kind for GHC and act as a "one-stop shop" for fellows and alumni to access materials and resources, share data and feedback with GHC, and connect with one another. To develop the system GHC plans to engage a consultant with extensive experience in developing results-based management and monitoring and evaluation systems for the social sector.
for support of reproductive health fellowships
Global Health Corps is a one-year fellowship program that serves as a launching pad for young people under 30 years of age to begin careers in global health. Global Health Corps currently operates in several countries in East and Southern Africa and the United States. To meet continued demand from applicants and recognize the health needs of their focus countries, Global Health Corps created partnerships with host organizations that focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights. This support will help Global Health Corps place fellows in positions focusing on sexual and reproductive health and rights for the upcoming two fellowship years.
for fundraising strategy
Global Health Corps's (GHC) one-year fellowship program aims to develop the next generation of leaders in global health, including reproductive health. In 2015 GHC celebrates its fifth anniversary and is in the process of launching a new strategic plan for the next three years of growth. This organizational effectiveness grant to GHC will support external consulting assistance to strengthen and implement the organization's ambitious development strategy. Over the next three years, the organization has aspirations to generate approximately $20 million in new revenues, much of it unrestricted, to grow its fellowship class and expand the number of global health issues in which GHC fellows engage.
