The Georgetown Climate Center (GCC), based within Georgetown Law School, would support states and power companies in constructively engaging with each other and the Environmental Protection Agency in shaping forthcoming federal greenhouse gas standards for existing power plants. GCC would help develop multi-state compliance frameworks, expand outreach to a larger group of states than those that have previously been engaged, and host in-person meetings before and after the draft rule is issued.
