Gamelan Sekar Jaya is a traditional Balinese music and dance troupe with more than 60 volunteer members. It fosters artistic exchanges between Bali and the United States through an ambitious schedule of workshops, performances, in-school assemblies, residencies, and the creation of innovative new works of music and dance. Reaching more than 10,000 audience members and 2,000 students each year, the organization is known for its ongoing exchange with Balinese masters through its artist-in-residence program.
