Funders for LGBTQ Issues

Funders for LGBTQ Issues works to increase the scale and impact of philanthropic resources aimed at enhancing the well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities; promoting equity; and advancing racial, economic, and gender justice. The main ways they do this are: (a) research on LGBTQ funding trends, gaps, and opportunities; (b) outreach and support services for both funders that already support LGBTQ issues and allies that don’t (yet); and (c) convening grantmakers to learn together and coordinate efforts. This grant is for general operating support as part of the Knowledge for Better Philanthropy strategy.
