Overview
Funders for LGBTQ Issues works to increase the scale and impact of philanthropic resources aimed at enhancing the well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities, promoting equity, and advancing racial, economic and gender justice. The main ways they do this are: (1) research on LGBTQ funding trends, gaps and opportunities; (2) outreach and support services for both funders that already support LGBTQ issues and allies that don’t (yet), and (3) convening grantmakers to learn together and coordinate efforts. This grant will support costs related to the executive search and transition currently underway at the organization.
