Overview
The Peace and Security Funders Group (PSFG), operating under the aegis of the Fund for Constitutional Government, is an association of donors dedicated to fostering effective philanthropy in the area of peace and security. As PSFG works to provide its philanthropist members a base of information to help guide their grantmaking, it has recognized the need to clarify the contours and diversity of such a wide-ranging field. This grant will be used to develop a comprehensive map of peace and security philanthropy — including a breakdown of subfields, analysis of trends, and an interactive website — to help donors place themselves within the broader effort and enable PSFG to bring new funders into the field.

for a strategy review for the Peace and Security Funders Group
The Peace and Security Funders Group (PSFG), a project of the Fund for Constitutional Government, is an association of private and public foundations, operating foundations, charitable trusts, grantmaking programs, and individual philanthropists who make grants that contribute to peace and global security. PSFG's mission is to help facilitate the exchange of information and ideas, foster collaboration, and provide educational opportunities for their members including encouraging new funders to join the field. Organizational Effectiveness funds would help PSFG take advantage of the arrival of its new Executive Director to refresh its strategic plan and work with its advisory board to develop a plan to implement the updated strategy.
