Overview
The Financial Accountability & Corporate Transparency Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 state, national, and international organizations working for a fair international tax system and against corrupt financial practices. With this grant, the coalition will promote stronger tax transparency rules through research on loopholes that facilitate financial malpractices, media outreach to disseminate results, and direct engagement with the Financial Accounting Standards Board and other parties engaged in rule making. The work will promote incorporation of country-by-country reporting and other tax-related transparency requirements into accounting rules.

The Financial Accountability & Corporate Transparency (FACT) Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 state, national, and international organizations working to advance corporate and financial transparency reforms and promote a fair and accountable international tax system. With this grant, the coalition will advance the achievement of FACT’s strategic priorities and will allow FACT to continue its advocacy work; conduct research; engage legal advice in regulatory processes; conduct outreach to corporate and investor allies; and engage the media to highlight these anti-corruption and tax justice issues.
