Overview
The Financial Accountability & Corporate Transparency (FACT) Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 state, national, and international organizations working to advance corporate and financial transparency reforms and promote a fair and accountable international tax system. With this grant, the coalition will engage and advocate for strong rules to implement the newly enacted Corporate Transparency Act in the United States. The coalition will also continue to foster effective implementation of standards requiring public country-by-country disclosures of tax and other information by multinational companies. The Financial Accountability & Corporate Transparency (FACT) Coalition is an alliance of more than 100 state, national, and international organizations working to advance corporate and financial transparency reforms and promote a fair and accountable international tax system. With this grant, the coalition will advance the achievement of FACT’s strategic priorities and will allow FACT to continue its advocacy work; conduct research; engage legal advice in regulatory processes; conduct outreach to corporate and investor allies; and engage the media to highlight these anti-corruption and tax justice issues.
