Overview
The Foundation of the Academic Senate for California Community Colleges promotes and advances public community college education in California, and they are hosting the 2021 CAL OER Conference. The CAL OER Conference focuses on OER efforts and impact, broadly defined, across the state of California and especially across the state’s three public higher education systems: the California Community Colleges, California State University, and the University of California. Sessions will address efforts to engage students in OER advocacy, strategies to build institutional OER programs, ways to maximize OER’s potential for sustainability, and OER impact and efficacy. (Substrategy: Field Building)
