Overview
Forum for the Future is a leading international sustainability organization that partners with business, governments, and civil society to accelerate the shift toward a just and regenerative future, one in which both people and the planet thrive. Forum for the Future’s Responsible Energy Initiative works with the renewable energy sector to adopt business models and value chains with justice, equity, universal rights, and resilient ecological systems at their core — thereby contributing to a just transition to clean energy. The initiative’s vision is realized by championing four principles: (a) Actively promote universal labor, land, and human rights; (b) protect, restore, and nurture resilient, thriving ecological systems; (c) commitment to participatory governance principles; and (d) build resilient communities and an inclusive workforce.
