Overview
Forum 2000 is a nongovernmental organization based in Prague in the Czech Republic. Founded by Vaclav Havel, it is dedicated to supporting the values he so powerfully upheld in his lifetime: democracy and respect for human rights; assisting the development of civil society; and encouraging religious, cultural, and ethnic tolerance. This project grant will enable Forum 2000 to support the development of an international coalition dedicated to revitalizing the values, norms, and institutions of liberal democracy.
