Overview
In recognition of the Hewlett Foundation’s 50th anniversary, the Hewlett 50 Arts Commissions initiative supports the creation and premiere of 50 exceptional works of performing arts. This grant will support the Filipino-American Development Foundation in developing and presenting "Nursing These Wounds," a multidisciplinary dance performance by artist Alleluia Panis. "Nursing These Wounds" will focus on the history of Filipinx nurses and investigate the impacts of colonization on Filipinx health and caregiving.
