Overview
FemHealth is a new organization that is developing a streamlined model for medication abortion services through a network of strategically located centers, starting in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and expanding to an additional twelve to fifteen centers over the next five years in areas of concentrated need. These centers will focus on improving access to medication abortion, making it more affordable and convenient. FemHealth also plans to launch an advertising and social marketing campaign to help change the conversation surrounding abortion provision. This new network is aimed at addressing the decline in the number of abortion providers in the United States and increasing access to earlier abortion services.
