Overview
This grant supports the creation of the Cyber Policy Institute (Cyπ), an interdisciplinary institute at Florida A&M University (FAMU), launched in collaboration between the university’s College of Science and Technology and the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities. Its mission will address policy challenges and opportunities presented by the development of digital sciences and its impact on society and will produce minority graduates who will be future leaders in cyber policy. The institute will promote the holistic development of cyber policy by bringing scholars from a wide range of disciplines to examine pressing cyber policy challenges. (Strategy: Talent Pipeline)

The Cyber Policy Institute is a newly established interdisciplinary cyber policy center at Florida A&M University. This grant supports the national search and recruitment of the Institute's founding Executive Director, including engagement with a search firm and other hiring costs. There is also an allocation in this grant for wellness in furtherance of the organization’s charitable purpose.
