Overview
This grant supports the work of the foundation’s Pool-Fund on International Energy (PIE) to bring international climate-friendly financing to Chinese business. PIE is working with other funders and regranters to build an ecosystem of organizations in Hong Kong capable of engaging on bringing a greener sensibility to Hong Kong finance. PIE will work with these organizations to engage Asian companies listed in Hong Kong to have 1.5 C compatible net-zero transitions — including coal transition in utilities and steel — and it will support market regulation in line with international best practices on climate.
