Overview
The mission of Envision Education’s four schools is to transform the lives of students — especially those who will be the first in their family to attend college — by preparing them for success in college and in life, through the integration of arts and technology into core subjects. Renewed support will enable Envision Learning Partners, the assessment arm of Envision Education, to expand and deepen its work via the Bay Area Performance Assessment Network. This project aims to increase educator and school leadership capacity for implementation of arts-integrated performance assessment, bringing it to a growing number of schools and counties in the region as a key educational strategy.

Grants to this Grantee
for support of leadership transition
Envision Education works with students, schools and districts to improve student outcomes through the use of its portfolio defense approach. Envision also hosts the Deeper Learning Leadership Forum, a cohort-based leadership program that aims to develop, strengthen, and support a group of educational leaders to work at the intersection of equity and design thinking. This organizational effectiveness grant supports the transition of a new executive director.
for the Deeper Learning Leadership Forum
Envision Education hosts the Deeper Learning Leadership Forum, in addition to working with students, schools, and districts to improve student outcomes through the use of its portfolio defense approach. The Leadership Forum is a cohort-based leadership experience that aims to develop, strengthen, and support a group of educational leaders to work at the intersection of equity and design thinking. The grant enables Envision to support education leaders who are knowledgeable of deeper learning and equity issues and positioned to implement necessary changes inside their systems. (Substrategy: Educator Capacity)
for development of a communications strategy
Envision Education operates three high schools and shares its model of education with other schools and districts through its consulting division. With Envision's plan to incorporate staff and projects that are currently part of the Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning and Equity (SCALE), this OE grant will enable them to engage a consultant to develop a strategic communications plan that captures their new combined body of work.
