Overview
Environmental Resources Trust, a subsidiary of Winrock International, will use this grant to support the continued development of a pilot crediting standard for the Energy Transition Accelerator — a mechanism that establishes verified CO2 equivalent emission reductions across a national electricity sector, rather than from individual projects. This project will support the publication of the crediting standard, as well as initial implementation in three to four participating pilot countries (tentatively including Chile, the Dominican Republic, Nigeria, and the Philippines).
