Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation

For Support Of Fund III

Overview
Founded in 2002 by noted venture capitalist and philanthropist William H. Draper III, the DRK Foundation has developed a "venture philanthropy" approach to supporting social sector innovation. Through rigorous due diligence, DRK identifies and invests in U.S.-based, early-stage nonprofits that aim for transformational social impact, in the U.S. and around the world. DRK is issue-agnostic, and over the years it has supported nonprofits working on issues ranging from conservation to education to global development. Like a venture capital firm would, DRK staff members take a board seat at all grantee organizations.
