Overview
The California Alliance for Arts Education promotes, supports, and advocates for visual and performing arts education for preschool through post-secondary students in California schools. It is the only statewide organization that brings together key stakeholders for arts education, serving more than 100,000 artists, K-12 teachers, parents, and members of state and local education departments and PTAs each year. Project support will allow the Alliance to expand its Arts Now Campaign local arts education planning program to more rural areas in California, and begin to build a coalition of higher education stakeholders to implement the state’s new dance and theater credentials.
