Overview
This grant would support the Colorado Environmental Coalition's efforts to protect the state's roadless areas and wild rivers and to constrain the expansion of fossil energy development on sensitive public lands. The Coalition is seeking to protect 475,000 roadless acres and 65 miles of wild rivers. Additionally, the Coalition will seek to prevent commercial leasing of oil shale and defend the state's innovative new rules for oil and gas leasing.
