Community Change is a national organization that builds power from the ground up, believing that effective and enduring social movements must be led by those most impacted by injustice themselves. The Modernizing Government Initiative at Community Change aims to advance recommendations for improving and modernizing the regulatory review process. The grant supports the initiative with resources to engage partners to participate in its advocacy and request for information activities.

Community Change is a national organization that builds the power of low-income people, especially people of color, to fight for a society where everyone can thrive. The New Economy Capacity Building project is fiscally sponsored by Community Change to research how to accelerate the impact of new economy movements around the world. The project will research innovations in organizing, think tanks, communications, and advocacy work in key geographies around the globe, including mapping where the gaps are. The project will develop strategies to share these best practices and identify gaps over the coming decade.
