Overview
The Christchurch Call Foundation supports a global, multistakeholder community of 56 governments, 19 online service providers, 13 partner organizations, and more than 50 civil society organizations acting together to eliminate terrorist and violent extremist content online through the 25 commitments in the Christchurch Call. The Christchurch Call Foundation will provide enhanced support capabilities to the Christchurch Call community in its next phase of effort, focused on adapting successful interventions to new technologies and preventing radicalization. In this new phase, the Call's model will enable its multistakeholder community to tackle information integrity, youth radicalization, artificial intelligence governance, and offline radicalization as it relates to the elimination of terrorist and violent extremist content online. This grant provides general operating support to stand up and launch the Christchurch Call Foundation as a new, independent entity.
