For Support To The Network For Accountability In Mexico

Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) is a Mexican public university that specializes in economic, legal, and policy research to improve public policy in Mexico. CIDE hosts the Network for Accountability, which brings together civil society organizations, academics, media, opinion leaders, and public officials to produce new research and diversify policy dialogue around Mexico’s public sector performance. This renewal will permit the network to continue monitoring the implementation of Mexico’s National Anticorruption System and study its effects on public administration.

Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas (CIDE) is a Mexican public research university whose mission is to generate knowledge to improve policy and decision making. This grant will build on previous support to CIDE to research why good policies are poorly implemented in Mexico’s federal and subnational governments. CIDE will carry out a diagnosis of institutional capacities at the federal and state level, and develop a set of proposals for improving them.
