Overview
This grant will support the Centre for Health and Social Justice in its role as coordinator of the work of the Community of Practitioners on Accountability and Social Action in Health (COPASAH), a global network of civil society practitioners from the global South established in 2011. The goal of COPASAH is to amplify community voice at the national and global level through the practice of citizen-led social accountability. This project will support the next phase of COPASAH’s work, which focuses on building learning and knowledge in how social accountability can strengthen marginalized and indigenous people’s understanding of their rights and access to better quality reproductive and maternal health services.
