Overview
Centers for Equity and Success, known as Success Centers, is dedicated to helping youth in detention centers, formerly incarcerated youth, and youth in settings that are alternatives to detention centers, such as community and continuation schools. Success Centers helps young people complete their education, build job skills, access housing and services, and connect to their creativity. Its arts programs offer visual and performing arts classes and presentation opportunities that promote self-expression, cooperation, skill building, and help youth experience a sense of accomplishment. This grant will support Success Center’s arts programs, which align with the Performing Arts Program’s Youth strategy.
