Overview
The Center for Tech and Civic Life is a national nonprofit that is harnessing the promise of technology to modernize the American voting experience. The group’s team of civic technologists, trainers, researchers, and election administration and data experts connects Americans with the information they need to become and remain civically engaged, and to ensure that our elections are more professional, inclusive, and secure. The center does this by connecting local election officials with tools and trainings so that they can best serve their communities. It also publishes free, open-source civic data sets that are used in some of the most powerful tools that drive civic participation.
