Center For Election Innovation & Research

The Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR) works to restore trust in the American election system and promote election procedures that encourage greater voter participation while ensuring election integrity and security. American democracy is under assault, and CEIR leverages its unique bipartisan credibility to work with election officials and the media to present a more unified, nonpartisan narrative; implement proven solutions to secure election infrastructure; and protect election officials who are increasingly under attack. To achieve success across all program areas, CEIR uses its research capabilities, collaborates with election experts, and actively works to inform national and state-specific dialogues.

The Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR) was founded in 2016 to ensure that elections are secure, voters have confidence in election outcomes, and democracy thrives as civic engagement grows. CEIR, based in Washington, D.C., works to improve election administration through research, data, and technology. It has a proven track record of working with election officials and experts from around the country and across the aisle on nonpartisan approaches to improving election administration.

The Center for Election Innovation & Research is a new nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, launched in April 2017, that works with election officials and experts from around the country and across the ideological spectrum to improve election administration. This general operating support grant will help build organizational capacity, processes, and programs.
