Center for Effective Philanthropy

For Support Of YouthTruth In The Bay Area

Overview
YouthTruth is a program of the Center for Effective Philanthropy that offers student, teacher, and parent assessment tools to schools and districts across the United States. Since 2008, YouthTruth has surveyed over 600,000 students across 38 states. School leaders can use the feedback from these surveys and the benchmarks provided for needs assessment; professional development; strategic planning; and school model, instructional, or school leadership changes. With this grant, YouthTruth will operate a special Bay Area Student Voice initiative to understand the extent to which philanthropic funders can constructively learn from the student experiences, insights, and perspectives expressed through the well-tested YouthTruth survey.
