Overview
The Center for Cultural Innovation, with offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, works across California to promote knowledge sharing, networking, and financial independence for individual artists and creative entrepreneurs. Since 2009 the organization has effectively partnered with the Performing Arts Program to strengthen arts leadership. Renewed funding will enable the organization to provide professional and leadership development scholarships to individuals, make grants to organizations to advance promising staff, and produce a statewide convening that provides practical visioning about the future of arts leadership.

With offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Center for Cultural Innovation has worked in close partnership with the Performing Arts Program since 2009 to develop and implement its arts leadership strategy. A grant for the California Arts Leadership Now (CAL-Now) program will support rising arts professionals statewide by facilitating connection, promoting the exchange of resources and learning, and supporting professional development opportunities.
