Overview
The Center for American Progress is an independent, nonpartisan educational institute promoting progressive ideas and action. The center will develop interrelated state and national frameworks for next-generation school accountability systems and explore how policy can best incentivize instruction and assessment for deeper learning student outcomes. The center hopes to advance new ideas for restructuring state and federal accountability systems, which will make it easier to improve innovative delivery of content knowledge, higher-order skills, and academic mindsets.

Grants to this Grantee
for the Climate Forum to design winning and equitable climate solutions project  
The Center for American Progress will partner with the Center for Earth, Energy and Democracy; the Midwest Environmental Justice Network; and the Natural Resources Defense Council to convene a Climate Forum over the next several years. The Climate Forum will support environmental justice groups working with national environmental groups and other influential constituencies to identify shared climate solutions and build a more united advocacy agenda.
