Overview
The Carnegie Endowment’s Global Oil Initiative seeks to provide up-to-date research about the climate risks of new and unconventional oils and petroleum products. This grant will implement the second phase of the Oil-Climate Index, an instrument for decision making that includes data on the life-cycle carbon emissions of different crude oils. Carnegie would also continue to support advocates, decision makers, and academics with their outreach activities and publications.
