Overview
CALSTART's mission is to promote the growth of clean transportation in the United States to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. This Organizational Effectiveness grant will provide resources for CALSTART to improve its communications with the public and its members by revitalizing their website and strengthening the organization's capacity to raise funds from diverse, non-governmental sources. The timing of this grant is essential to the organization near-future as its national work is ramping up and its success in California is becoming more apparent.

This initiative includes work to implement the global memorandum of understanding on rapid commercial vehicle electrification, and advance zero-emission truck vehicle regulations in the U.S. CALSTART also plans to leverage the investments from the Inflation Reduction Act and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
