In 2015, the Fund plans to focus on successful implementation of California’s climate change policies.
for building civic engagement in environmentally impacted communities  
The California League of Conservation Voters will conduct a program to covert Asian Pacific Island (API) voters to permanent absentee (vote by mail) voters in several highly polluted neighborhoods in LA County, and partner with a local API organization on outreach and subsequent civic engagement efforts. Their goal is to build electoral power and public policy changes in environmentally impacted API communities by increasing the civic participation of APIs to ultimately increase environmental protections and improve public health.
