Overview
Next Narrative Africa, a project of Build Up, Inc., has partnered with HEVA Fund to launch the Next Narrative Africa Fund, a $40 million mission-driven content and media fund to invest in commercially viable audiovisual content made in Africa by African and African-diaspora storytellers. The fund, led by two women of African descent, will raise and deploy $30 million in equity financing and $10 million in grants over four years to support high impact audiovisual content that promotes socially impactful, narrative-shifting stories by African and diasporic creatives. This grant will support the structuring, launch, and pipeline-building functions of the fund. (Strategy: Inclusive Governance)
