Grants to this Grantee
for support of the Economic Studies program’s work to improve the federal budget process
This Brookings Institution project seeks to rebuild trust in the federal budget process among both parties and the American people. Building on almost five years of previous work on budget process reform, the overall purpose of the project will be to foster improvements and reforms in the way Congress conducts its "power of the purse" functions and to help strengthen the possibilities for achieving reforms in the current climate.
